My name is Julia Robare and I am your Miss Fulton County 2023. I grew up in Gloversville, NY, graduating from Gloversville High School in 2020. I now attend SUNY Cortland, currently in my junior year, majoring in early childhood education with a concentration in humanities. I am also the captain of my college hip hop dance team, named Danceworks, where I create the dances, song choices, and performances.

 

Throughout my year of service, I will represent and give back to Fulton County as I raise awareness on my social impact initiative-Mentoring for Success. My goal as Miss Fulton County is to work with schools and communities in Fulton County and surrounding areas to create and implement mentoring programs for the youth of our area. I will continue to be a mentor for your children and teenagers as a positive role model. 

 

Outside of school, I substitute in the Gloversville Enlarged School District as an aide/TA/Teacher. I volunteer my time at The Loft in Gloversville NY-an after school community program where students can go to hangout, do homework, and work on character building skills.  

 

In my spare time, I love to participate in group workouts, spend time with my family, choreograph dances, and spend summers boating on the Great Sacandaga Lake.
